Wow! How fun is that? I might have to get it even though I already have them separately. lol
I like to fancy myself as Maggie and my DH as Dylan. lol
Yes, I know, I know--I lead a sheltered life. lol

Loved WHERE THE RIVER ENDS, as well as the other books Mr. Martin has written.  I’ve read t hem all, and am eager to know when he will publish a new work.
I’m curious about how he goes about researaching the books, especially the technical and medical aspects.  Martin’s observations about the South, and our many colloquialisms, made me laugh often.  I’d forgotten some of the sayings I used growing up, like “cramming my foot down my throat.” Thanks for sharing your experiences with your readers.  Sincerely, Randa Rottschafer

I just finished reading WHEN CRICKETS CRY.  I was captivated by WHERE THE RIVER ENDS and CATCHING FIREFLIES, and this one was equally compelling.  Today I searched for another CM novel in our local library and found only MAGGIE which I will wait to read until I have read THE DEAD DON’T DANCE.  I am very pleased to have discovered your talent, Mr. Martin, and believe you must be a person of great compassion and integrity.  Thank you for sharing what God has given you through your novels.  I look forward to adding all your books to my personal library to share with my family and friends in the years to come.  Happy New Year to you and God’s blessings upon your family.

I just finished reading Where the River Ends.  Thank you for the story of love and life.  My husband and I lost our first child 16 years ago.  The line in the book about looking for hurt in someone elses eyes is real.  It touched a part of me that is still very tender.  There comes a time when you can no longer go on--or at least you think you can’t.  For us, God gave us the strength to put one foot in front of the other and fight for one more day/hour/minute.  It was all worth it!  Your story is lovely.

Charles Martin’s words alone are magnificent as he breathes personality into the life of his characters by meer words alone.

I have read all Charles Martin’s books except Wrapped in Rain. I’m saving it because his new book won’t be out until this summer. The Dead Don’t Dance and Maggie are two of my favorites. Several times I was SOBBING so hard I had to stop reading and just cry! I’ve begun sharing them with friends at church and they love them too.
Thank you, Mr. Martin, for such beautiful works. I can’t wait for you new book.

I just finished Maggie over the weekend.  Absolutely love the characters and the story itself.  My entire family is hoping that you can find another story to use the characters again.  Keep up the great work Charles, we love every book you put out.

It was nice meeting you at the booksigning in Woodstock, Ga. a few weeks ago.  Incidentally, I saw a copy of THE DEAD DON’T DANCE in the library of our cruise ship docked at St. Petersburg, Russia.  Please inform us readers when you know about the publication of your latest book.

Except for Wrapped in Rain, I have read all of your books, mostly in a 6-mo period.
I’ve told many people about your books, and now they are fans too.  Cant wait
till the new one comes out.  God has certainly given you a talent for giving hope
to people without being preachy.  God bless you and your family.  And I’m counting
the days till your next book.

I am writing cards for my neighbors greeting them a happy new year, but “have a great year ahead” sounds overused. Can you give me some other expression?

I think Down Where My Love Lives is a bittersweet yet triumphant love story-a tale of one man’s spiritual journey through the darkness of despair into the light of hope.

The advantage of this book is that you will find two novels in it: “The Dead Don’t Dance” and “Maggie” and a story “Down where my Love Lives”. The pitch is perfect…

I wonder why the author decided to do a two in one novel? I haven’t seen many novels like this and I’m curious if more authors are going to do it to make more money.

I really want to have this movie. This is something that I want to request and suggest on Amazon to produce a requested suggestion by the viewer if they don’t have it.
