(I’ve also been told you can find it at Target, which is nice since Christy is a regular there.)
I picked up the paperback in the supermarket. Spent Saturday reading it. I loved it! I plan to read all of your books. Keep writing--I’ll keep reading.
This book was a suggestion by my Kindle. Wow! I must say that its a page turner, a love story, and a heart tugger. This was the first time I have read one of Charles Martin’s novels. I immediatly bought another book after I finished this one. Warms your heart and your spirit to the core.
After reading “ Where the river ends “ my sister and I had to read more books by Charles Martin. I am in the middle of “ Wrapped in Rain” and felt compelled to let the author know in some fashion how his work touches me in a way few books do. Life so often these days is filled with empty values and hopelessness but anyone who reads this author’s books will find in a very real way what matters most. I see God in a powerful and real way and true love for him and He towards us. The other thread that runs through both books is our love for each other and how given in an unconditional is really God loving us. Thank you Charles. I plan on sharing these books with everyone I know who loves a moving story written in a beautiful style.
About half way through Where The River Ends and I am in awe of it and your writing. I just read the first of The Mountain and I can not wait to read it now.
Just wanted to say I am a new fan and absolutely am thrilled that you need therapy and hope that need continues for a long time.
Seriously, thank you for writing. Very good stories.

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME!! WAY TO GO CHARLES!! YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS
I own all of your books and love every single one of them. Please write another!
I picked up your book in supermarket (River Ends) I thought it was one of the best books I have read (and I am an avid reader) The Mountain Between us, is a fantastic book...I have started reading all your books from library...Have told all my reading friends that I have found a new author.....Keep writing as the books are great......
This has been a neat experience. I’m a new fan. I listen to audiobooks pretty often and get many from the library. The one thing I check for is a male narrator which is why I checked out “The Mountain Between Us”. It has been a pleasure to hear it read. This is my first C.Martin book. I’m listening and thinking --there’s no cussing in this story. Not knowing anything about Mr. Martin, I start asking the Lord about him. There is integrity in the story. Very rare to find. I was tickled about Jacksonville, Fl. being used in the story. I live here. Born here. It’s fun to hear your hometown in stories. Then I found this site and see Mr. Martin lives here too. God Bless you BIG Mr. Martin. Trust He keeps you writing a long time.
I’ve just read “The Mountain Between Us” & can’t stop thinking about what a wonderful story it is. I haven’t read any of your other books but they are all on my to read list now. I wonder how they can possibly compare to this one. Thanks for so much enjoyment & keep it coming.
Just read in 2 days “The Mountain Between Us”. First time reader of your books. Waited 4 weeks to get library. I am now on wait-list for 3 other books by you. I usually have 3-5 books going at once. However, I put those aside because I could NOT put Mountain down until I finished it. Out of thousands of books I have read in my 58 years, this was at the TOP of my list. What an inspiring and touching story. Please, Please talk to someone about making this book into a movie. You would have a blockbuster on your hands if so !!! Keep up the fantastic work. What a gift God has given you!!!
Just finished reading your blog entry about the “The Mountain Between Us” being made into a movie. My first thought as to actors to play Dr. Ben was Liam Neeson--specifically because of his real life loss of his wife, Natasha Richards. But, that is probably much too close to home for even the best actors.
My second thought was Nathan Fillion, currently playing the lead in the TV series “Castle”.
To play Ashley Knox, my vote is Hilarie Burton, playing Sarah in “White Collar”.
Love, love, love your writing. When’s the next book surfacing? :)
Some writers take a story and tuck emotions into it. You take emotions and wrap a story around them. Big difference. Keep writing. I’ll keep reading.
This blog is very nice and informative. it is pretty hard task but your post and experience serve and teach me how to handle and make it more simple and manageable.
