Good news. My editor moved UP my release date, which means “Thunder and Rain” will release April 1st, rather than May—and no, this is not some sick April Fools’ joke.
Woo Hoo! Glad to hear about the good news & can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Oh PTL! That will make the long, yucky winter worth enduring! :)
I just hate that we have to wait that long :) Will be eager to get my hands on a copy, and I hope you will publish a chapter or two ahead of time to whet our appetites. Keep writing.
GREAT! I just finished The Mountain Between Us last night. My hubs even gave me permission to read the last few chapters while we were at Chuck E Cheese’s with my son. (I know, super involved mom, huh?!) Thankfully, I was able to hold back the tears. I’ll forgive you for pulling a N. Sparks on us ;)
I ... CAN ... HARDLY ... WAIT!!!! I’m about to read The Mountain Between Us AGAIN ... guess that’ll have to hold me til April 1 ... lol.
Recently, I downloaded a book on my Kindle that I thought might be one of yours. Apparently, however, another Charles Martin exists...one that I didn’t enjoy reading nearly as much. I wonder, is there a way that a middle initial can be submitted by either one of you to clarify which Charles Martin is the one the reader wants?

WOOHOO!! Good news! Thanks! Got my husband (who doesn’t read fiction, and usually only reads the newspaper!) to read The Mountain Between Us. He read it in one day...one sitting, basically..only stopping for supper! Now he’s reading Where the River Ends. Lucky for him, he still has 5 more of your books to get him through to April. Now we will BOTH be looking forward to your next release!

didn’t think i’d enjoy any book as much as i did WHERE THE RIVER ENDS, but THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US proved me wrong! i just started WHEN CRICKETS CRY. wonderful also. THUNDER AND RAIN.....is it out already? or is that April 2012?
Just finished “The Mountain Between Us!” Wow, what a story! It was hard to figure out whether Ben and Ashley would remain together, or Ben would go back to Rachel! What a dilemma, solved btw in a unique way! Wonder if Charles Martin could run a 4 min mile!? I got down to 4:19 in my hey day, but couldn’t vision slowing down to miss the dream time! Just wish Napoleon could somehow have wound up with B & A!
I think God loves irony. I am Jeff Hall, Christy’s cousin. Your books got passed around in the family, but they never got to me. I volunteer monthly in FBC Fernandina library and was looking for something to read. I come across “Chasing Fireflies” and the author’s name rings a bell. Then I remember you and I am so blessed. You may see a spike in sales, because I am hooked. I tried facebooking you, but thought I would try this. I hope soon that we can visit Christy and you and that you can meet my wife Sally.
