Jacksonville Release Party

Night before last, we held a release party in Jacksonville for ”Where the River Ends.” We think we had somewhere north of 400 people and I signed around 350 books.  By the end of the night, I’d ask my hand to write something and it would laugh at me.  The result looked like either some ancient script or the doodling of a two year old.  Here are some photos (on Flickr) from the release party.  Notice the canoes.  They’re handmade.  I think they’re incredible.  I’ve never seen anything like them. 

To all the folks that came and stood in line, my thanks.  Hope you enjoy the book.

    Those canoes are hand-made by an artist here in Jacksonville. He has canoes on display , and for sale, at Works of Art on Phillips Hwy. ,heading north just after Baymeadows Rd. across form BJ’s. He is a great guy and fellow Christ follower.
